Jennifer Endres

Family Liaison
Jennifer Endres

Jennifer brings over 15 years of professional experience at the forefront of the Rett syndrome community. After a conversation with Monica Coenraads shortly after her daughter Jillian’s diagnosis in 2004, she knew she needed to get involved.

The Rett Syndrome Research Foundation (RSRF) hired Jennifer in 2005 as the director of family support, working closely with Monica. As RSRF merged with the International Rett Syndrome Association (IRSA) and eventually became Rettsyndrome.org, she stayed focused on her goal of helping hundreds of families navigate their journey with Rett syndrome.

Jennifer, along with her family and friends, has raised over $1 million for research through various grassroots events, such as the Cape Cod Strollathon, Cape Cod Kentucky Derby Gala, mud runs, and other initiatives throughout the years. Jennifer has presented and shared her experiences at Rett syndrome conferences and events nationally as well as within research, educational, and medical facilities.

Helping a family to understand their child’s diagnosis and arming them with the resources they need is crucial. Representing as a steadfast supporter and guiding families to a place of enrichment and happiness is what Jennifer passionately strives for in her role as family liaison at the Rett Syndrome Research Trust.

Jennifer is a graduate of Keene State College, where she received her undergraduate degrees in elementary education and psychology, and holds a graduate degree in education from Cambridge College. Prior to Jillian’s birth she taught kindergarten and first grade.

Jennifer lives on Cape Cod, Mass., with her husband, Justin, daughter, Jillian (18), two sons, Griffin (13) and Colin (12), and labradoodle, Sully.
